Verna Brown spent more than 30 years in luxury hospitality with The Ritz-Carlton, directing Human Resources for properties in St. Thomas and Atlanta and leading teams of over 575 associates. Her work spanned designing training programs and succession plans, and even guiding her team through disaster recovery in the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, all while holding to that same guest-first standard. She built her career on a simple hospitality principle: anticipate what a guest needs before they ask, and deliver it flawlessly, every time.
